I. Information collected whilst you browse our site.

Our server enables us to monitor basic information such as number of visitors and gives us information on the time of day visited, amount of hits, pages visited, country of origin, external link site and IP address of the user. This information is retained securely on our server and does not give link to any of your personal information, these are for statistic purposes only.

We do not collect any information or store cookies on your computer as you browse our site as a guest. When a user registers, their personal information is transmitted to our secure server where it is only accessable to authorised Snellyvision staff using usernames and passwords.  Our shopping cart software may put a cookie on your computer to eable you to log onto Snellyvisions website easier upon your next log on.

II. How we use or share the information we collect.

We collect personal information to complete a transaction. This information is held by our shopping cart software. A hard copy of every transaction is printed out and stored at our company head quarters in a secure filing cabinet. This hardcopy will include the information you entered into our shopping cart; your name, address, email address, phone number and details of your order including items and prices. We use 256bit SSL encryption when you enter your personal details.

To comply with PCI DSS we do not write down or store any payment information.  All payment details including your card details are handled by our secure payment processor Barclaycard via their secure epdq website.  We do not have access to your card details on Barclaycards epdq website.

We do not sell or give your details to third parties, unless it is in connection with a request filed by yourself (i.e. you wish a manufacturer to contact you about an item you have or are considering purchasing from us).

III. Your choice regarding the marketing uses of the collected information.

We do not use your details for marketing purposes unless you give us permission to do so.  We NEVER give your details to any third parties to use for marketing purposes.

V. How we protect the information online.

Our checkout uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol that encrypts personal information being transferred over the Internet.

Our computers are password protected and only used by Snellyvision's owners.

Physical hard copies of each order are kept securely at our Rothwell office. These can only be accessed by Snellyvision staff.

VI. How we make changes to our privacy policy and where consumers should look to see if changes have been made.
